SUDIA - Sudanese Development Initiative .

The Sudanese Development Initiative (SUDIA) is a non-governmental a-political organization committed to playing an active and lead role in advancing peace, development and social justice for the people of Sudan. The organization is registered in Sudan in accordance with the Humanitarian and Voluntary Act for 2006 and maintains offices in Khartoum and North Kordofan States. SUDIA’ programs aim to develop and implement interventions that sustain and reinforce the recently secured peace agreement and support the country and its people achieve their part of the Millennium Development Goals. Current programs fall under three key areas – Strengthening Civil Society, Economic/Community Development and Peace Building and Conflict Transformation.

Programs are re-enforced and supported through the provision of services targeting the development community. These include: carrying out surveys, business/program planning, custom-designed training packages, sector studies, project/program assessments and evaluations.
The organization is managed by an executive committee supported by a team of young dedicated professionals and volunteers. Additionally, SUDIA programs and services draw on an experienced and professional pool of associates and partner institutions. This combination of staff, associates and partner institutions has enabled the organization to execute programs and provide services in a cost-effective and professional manner.
